Yoga Is to unite body mind and spirit. In other words realising the universal consciousness, shunning the ego, king beyond the self.

Awakening the Spirit

My work is an interpretation of my experiences of a quiet journey into a deep musing towards a world of ecstasy and elation my meditations. The art work is the result of stabilizing those layers of constantly moving imageries which reside in the far reaches of my mind onto the canvas. The process I adopt is intense and the execution intricate. With layers of colours and lacerations. The idea is to create an image that is pleasing calming the mind and transports the viewer in to a meditative state of mind.

Inspired by his yogic meditation practices, Devullapallis creative process begins with a daily routine of contemplation and introspection. As ideas emerge from his meditative state, he translates them onto canvas, starting with simple scribbles and gradually developing them into complex compositions. The interplay of visual imagery, contrasting tones, and minimalist elements creates a unique and harmonious aesthetic.
