Nisha Dhinwa

The significance of Nisha Dhinwa's art is disguised in its mundane simplicity of her observed human experience unconcernedly expressed through them. She observes her seemingly insignificant garden transform into an unexplored and incredible world, where she loses herself to the inexplicable sensation of the colours, textures, patterns, and sounds of the insects and birds that pay me a visit. She calls it not merely an appreciation of nature's beauty, but the poetry of the feeling of marveling at how something so beautiful can go largely unnoticed. Through her works of etching, she would like us to appreciate their part in the ecosystem and nurture a larger appreciation for smaller things in life.
