About Farhad Hussain

Born in 1975 Jamsedpur, India. Hussain completed BFA in Painting Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan and Post Diploma in Painting from Faculty of Fine Arts, MS University, Baroda.

He received the Nasreen Mohammadi Scholarship, MS University, Baroda in 2004. Later, runner up for the IHC’s ‘Most Promising Artist’ in 2006.

Hussain’s work has been auctioned in Sotheby’s, Christie and Saffron Art Auction on numerous occasions. He has also participated in numerous Art Fairs in India and Internationally. He has displayed his works in 32 group and 9 solo exhibitions on prestigious platforms.

Hussain currently lives in Delhi, India.
