Landscape and seascape are my inspiration. India is such a diverse country. She has so much to offer to the world population that I assume it as my responsibility to picture her in front of the world in her truest forms and colours. Each of her states has something to set the viewers in a state of awe. Rajasthan, Kashmir, Kerala, UP, Goa - all speak of the rich scenic excellence that India is bestowed with. The holy city of Varanasi compels me to depict its banks, its narrow roads, the Ganges, the temples in the highest possible form of art. As a practitioner of art, I lay full faith in landscape and portrait forms, which by many are considered as a thing of the past but to me it speaks volumes of the lives of extra-ordinary people who just look ordinary on the surface. I hope that my viewers see the story behind each little thing that I paint and try to depict.
