I have been obsessed with the beauty and varieties of flowers. According to me, a flower is a symbol of energy in the universe. Each one blossoms out to nature, which is pure and innocent. Flowers have an expression of countenance, much like man and animals. Some smile, some have a sad expression, and yet others are plain. I imagine my own garden to be a place of sentiments – a place of memories, thoughts and dreams. Thoughts grow as freely as flowers, memories make me nostalgic and dreams come true on my canvas. I make use of oil on canvas and knife strokes to help me express better and highlight the subject, content and expression.
