About Sachin Sagare
Born on 12th May 1981
Sachin Sagare's works are a heartfelt tribute to rural life, echoing the grace, strength, and spirit of Maharashtra’s women. In Sachin Sagare’s world, the ordinary becomes extraordinary. Women in traditional saris pause mid-chore, caught in quiet reflection or festive movement, their stories told in the rich rhythm of brush and color.
Born and raised in Maharashtra, Sachin paints not from imagination alone, but from memory, emotion, and a deep-rooted connection to his homeland. His canvases speak of sunlit courtyards, the rustle of cotton saris, the scent of earth after rain — a world that is at once intimate and universal.
Sachin Sagare’s journey began in the pastoral landscapes of rural Maharashtra, where life unfolded slowly and vividly. Encouraged by an early love for drawing, he later trained in fine art, mastering both oils and acrylics. What he carried with him from his education wasn’t just technique but a clarity of purpose.
He wasn’t interested in grand themes or faraway subjects. He wanted to paint what he knew best - the women who shaped his world, the rituals that marked the seasons, the small but sacred acts of daily life.
Sachin builds his compositions layer by layer, using bold colors and textured brushwork to bring his subjects to life. The women he paints may seem serene, but their stillness holds stories: of endurance, of dignity, of joy quietly lived.
There is reverence in every detail, from the drape of a sari to the tilt of a head to the interplay of shadow and light. His process is slow, intuitive, deeply personal.
