About Anwar Husain
Anwar Husain is an artist based out of Pune. He holds a Diploma in Art Education and G. D. Art, Drawing and Painting from Kalavishawa Mahavidyalaya, Sangli. His favourite mediums are Oil & Acrylic on Canvas and Watercolour on Paper. Anwar's palette of colours brings a breath of freshness to all his paintings. He has been a part of several group and solo shows which include venues such as the Jahangir Art Gallery, Mumbai. For his work he has been recognized and awarded many a times. He was given the State Art Award by the Government of Maharastra, V.V. Oak Memorial Award by Tilak Smarak Trust and many more. His paintings have found homes across the world and in the country.
