About Muralidharan Alagar

Born on 3rd November 1973

I intend to evoke moods and new ideas by resolving poignant conditions of dream and reality. My work presents the world from a subjective viewpoint, which is the main trait of expressionism. I play with expressions and emotions in my work which leads the viewer to a distinct understanding of my creation based on the emotions evoked inside him/her. These sublime and subtle expressions are the soul of all my paintings

Muralidharan is a passionate contemporary artist who lives in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. His paintings style is expressionist and surrealist along with hints of abstract realism. He has showcased his work at Sasken communications in Bangalore, Loyola College, Chennai and in group shows across the country.
