Ungallery is Artflutes signature initiative that seeks to bring art into our everyday conversations. Visual Art can often be confined to the white cubes of physical galleries and it remains inaccessible to many. Despite being an online art gallery that primarily promotes works of Indian artists, Ungallery is our way of exploring how art can help us connect, communicate our deepest emotions and influence the world around us. Ungallery Talks was our way of looking at the story of Indias first modern artist Ravi Verma in the context of Cult vs Culture; of what it took for an artist to go beyond being owned by the royalty to being present in every home and becoming a household name. Ungallery Walks introduces interactive art walks to facilitate and mediate conversations. Ungallery Experiences introduced art shows curated in unconventional spaces allow the viewers to fully immerse themselves in the stories of the artworks. Ungallery Interventions with Interactive Art interventions and installations were designed to influence behaviour change. Ungallery Emerge has developed into an online and offline initiative to promote young contemporary art students. As part of the ongoing initiatives we have also hosted public art interventions at VR Mall, organized interactive art walks at Art Bengaluru - a public art festival all as part of allowing people to consume and interact with art in different contexts without the pressure of looking at art to own a piece.
