Artflute presents ‘Country Beats’, an online showcase with a curated collection of the most recent works by a widely favourite watercolourist, Sivabalan. Artist Siva Balan is all about flirting with opposites. His paintings toy with nativity and rural villages, especially scenes from the southern villages he grew up around. His works capture everyday scenes and movements, without filters and without divulging too many details.
