As I belong to a non-urban part of the state, a strong family bond and carefully nurtured relationships hold paramount significance in my life. Relationships and family values appear to be shallow in these big cities and hence, through my work I attempt to display these special relationships in our lives keeping our traditional Indian culture alive. I put my heart and soul to represent the age-old traditional Indian family on the little space provided. I do this not through single distinctive image but though scenes woven into a story. All the characters painted contribute as layers to the story represented on the canvas.
