Born on 19th February 1974

My compositions are a representation of the spiritual world. I have dedicated my life in freeing myself from the materialist world and seeking total enlightenment. My compositions are my penance in this journey. I’m greatly inspired by Indian Mythology and it finds its space in my paintings as well.
Arabinda Samanta is a resident of Mumbai. He studied in BVA Government College of Art and Craft, Kolkata. For his works, he has also been awarded many times and his works have found homes in various galleries. He has been part of various group and solo shows across the country. His works have an air of surrealism to them and they are presented with earthly colours.
