About Vidhya Devi
Vidhya Devi's works explore the relation between the life of women of yesteryears and the women now. For her, art is a snapshot of reality and a common language through which she can share her exhilaration and depression. She laments about the abuse that both the girl child and woman are subject to. Probing the phenomenon of child abuse, she chooses to experiment with prints through the techniques of woodcut, lithography, drypoint, etching, and aquatint.
