I majorly draw my inspiration from nature that envelops around us. However, the cynosure of my works is stylized figures of men and women that underscore the goodness of our everyday simplistic lives just like they combine the traditions and modern attributes of India. I do not hesitate to paint the bounties of nature as a background to these wholesome figures in order to accentuate the overall beauty and subsequently, it emphasizes on their inter-dependence. Also, even though I create an interesting mix of subtle and soft colours on my palette, they do not fail to convey the desired feelings, moods and impressions.
