About Shan Re
Shan Re has no professional training in the field of art. Yet, her style and composition is so perfect that one notices the absolute brilliance of her paintings immediately. She is famous for her oil paintings, contemporary art, visual art and fine art. Her most popular series include ‘The Colorscapes’ (2001), ‘Memories of Kulu Valley’ (2000 to 2002), ‘Psychopictografia’ (2003), ‘Echos and whispers’ (2004), ‘In the Musical Garden’ (2007), ‘Silence and Solitude’ (drawings of 2001), ‘Premonitions and Precognitions’ (drawings of 2011) and ‘The Eternal Spring’ (2010 to present). She has had several solo and group shows in India and abroad. Her work has been collected in public collections such as Ritz Carlton, Embassy Boulevard, Brigade Group, ITC Infotech, Srikantadatta Wadiyar, late Maharajah of Mysore, RMZ Ecospace, Salarpuria Hallmark, Shangri-la Hotel, Brigade Tech Park, Woodrose Club, Bhoruka Power Corporation, ING Vysya Bank and in private collections in Amsterdam, Berlin, New York, London, Kuala Lampur, San Francisco. She has also received 'The Best Landscape' award from the ICAC foundation in 2013.
