About Sachin Pandey
Sachin Pandey finds his works to be a coming together of many moments and influences his whole life, eager to find an expression. He realises that his love for architecture might be a new one but his interest in Indo-Islamic culture belonged to his days in Hyderabad and his obsession for parallel lines went back to his early teens. His childhood memories of his mother taking him for the Moharram procession sees an equal impact in his work as much as his recent study of Islamic tomb culture. His miniature paintings of Indo-Islamic architecture hold enough of him, that even he may not be aware of.
