About Manish Verma
Manish Verma was a student of the College of Art and Craft, Patna. It was only in 2011, after travelling for months, did he become a full time painter. His frequent trips to Bodh Gaya in his teens urged him to seek the meaning of life and inspired him. Manish’s paintings often center around Buddha, from his early days of being prince Siddhartha to the attainment of Nirvana, using the Jataka stories for influence. Using the wash technique, Manish plays with pale and bright colors to recreate the message of peace. His group shows have been held throughout India, such as Vincent Art Gallery, All India Painting Exhibitions in Amritsar and Lucknow and India Art Festival, Mumbai
