It Displays an exquisite mastery in handling the media. The aquatint is similar to Etching, but follows a different process. It has good range of tonal values from gray to black and elaborate textures. It portrays the nature in its full glory. In this, he represents the nature as diptych.i.e. two distinct spaces. Top frame displays clouds as small tufts of cotton, while down frame depicts vegetative life and both are linked by a falling down and oscillating flower(to note its Arhul often red with big petals). One can notice the quality of meandering lines for its deft and variation ranging from the linear mushroom to curvy snail to round fluffy clouds and to delicate flower. One may be misled, thinking as, if it be from the pages of “Alice in Wonderland.” Although devoid of its natural colors, one can still hear the sound of creeper and falling flower. Isn't it a haiku or poetry inherent?
