Artflute review
The work so executed in sizzling monotonous color of red and green reminds of series of Painting done on such theme done throughout the period of history of Western Art. It does remind one of swirling and live brush strokes of Van Gogh. The forms are caricaturesque. The viewpoint is aerial and diagonal in its schema, as if to allot the viewer the next entrant to the table laid with food. Although it shows non-vegetarian meal with forks and with people in Western gear seems to be tourist and it is a restaurant with popular brands on display on the wall. Isn't it reminds of fish loving Bengali or is it just Goan. Don't feel annoyed, if it seems comical with its masks like face with forks and spoons ready to take their bite.
