	Rochester Contemporary Art Center is pleased to invite you to participate and help further the international art phenomenon called 6x6x2012: Bigger & Better. 6x6 began as a small fund-raising project, but has grown into a unique exhibition that is recognizable across the U.S. and beyond. Last year over 5,000 artworks from 50 states and 36 countries were entered in this huge community based exhibition. Anyone from anywhere in the world, from any background and any skill level is welcome to enter their work in the exhibition. 6x6x2012 June 2 - July 15, 2012 Artwork Entries Due: May 6 or Postmarked by May 5 Global Online Preview Begins: May 25 @10am In-Gallery Preview (no purchasing): May 30, 31 & June 1, 1-10pm Opening Party & Artwork Sale: June 2, 6-10pm (admission: $5) 7:30pm raffle for buyer position #1-20 8:00pm all other buyers Global Online Purchasing Begins: June 5 at 10am: www.roco6x6.org Sold Out Artist Names Revealed Online: July 6 Artwork Purchase Price: $20 each Purchased Artwork Pick-Up: July 15, 16 & 17, 1-7pm Please help us build an exhibition of artworks with more global participation than last year. Artworks are already arriving, please invite everyone you know to send their artworks early. 6x6x2012: Bigger and Better is the fifth exhibition of thousands of original artworks, made and donated by celebrities, international and local artists, designers, college students, youths, and YOU! All artworks will be exhibited anonymously (singed only on the back) and for sale to the public for $20 each to benefit Rochester Contemporary Art Center (RoCo). Artist names will be revealed to the buyer only upon purchase and all works will remain on display for the duration of the exhibition. All artworks will also be included in the online gallery and available for viewing and purchasing from around the world. Join the first artists and celebrities such as Thich Nhat Hanh, Vietnamese Buddhist Monk, Teacher, Author, Poet and Peace Activist; Andrea Barrett, Novelist and Short Story Writer; Tom Otterness, Sculptor; Lorenzo Fonda, Film Director; Congresswoman Louise Slaughter; Danny Wegman, CEO of Wegmans; Eric Bellman, Artist; Jeff Tyzik, Conductor, Arranger, and Trumpeter; The Right Reverend Jack McKelvey; Janet Lomax, Journalist/News Anchor at WHEC-TV 10 NBC; and Anne Kress, President of the Monroe County Community College, and many others by entering a 6x6 inch artwork signed only on the back.
