THE NATURE'S CHORD
|
|
This painting is created in the backdrop of money.
It tries to convey that while we are so deeply attached to money in today's world, we are severing our ties with the nature in the bargain. My creative take is that as long as the foetus is in connection with the mother it is safe and growing. Similarly, if we remain close to Mother Nature we will be safe and would progress in life.

Create to recreate

Having caused harm to the nature in indefinite ways, we are still not learning a lesson. Instead of rebuilding and recycling we are in the look out for opportunities to gain as much as we can from whatever is left. But even if we use / misuse nature's resources for our materialistic growth and advancement, it remains our responsibility to take every step to preserve them for our prolonged use and also for the needs of our future generation. Recycling and rebuilding is the only way out for a new world.

Money rule
In the beginning of time, man had four basic needs air, water, food and shelter. With the growing world, man created a fifth basic need – money. This man-made need has since changed mankind in a big way. There is a magical power inherent in money. Its magic lies in its effect on people. Money does different things to different people, different nations and different places.
This magical power and its varied effect form the core of my series of paintings. This magical power has casted its spell on me as well by igniting me to capture creative part of money in my paintings.
