About my work
The 'Experience' of the most sensational and critical moments of life are my 'paintings', Experiences can be expressed if only ' Experienced' likewise, I have tried to picturise my own experiences relating to the customs, traditions, rituals, Japa-Tapa, worships etc., of my home. At the same time the changes occurred in my life due to these experiences are also visualized in my paintings.
They include my views, my Joys and sorrow, likes and dislikes, passion and fury and all my dilamos.
In the present series I have tried to express my experiences relating to the topics 'Life and God', 'Visible and Invisible'.
All the paintings being in 'Oil media' they are created in 'Impasto process'. The 'Space' containing 'Geometrical forms' have relevant 'structures' along with some ''Beejaksharas''. The human body animal face and legs used is the influence of the 12th century 'Uddarane' paintings related to the spiritual concepts- The power of 'Kundalini, Pranayama, Japa-Tapa, Dhyana and the power of Shiva'.
I am very curious of my experiences that I have expressed in this series of paintings. I think all knowledge and experiences are interrelated and integral [ Kutasta ] which ultimately aim at "Universalisation of Humanity" and that is what
my paintings talk about...
