Initially all the forms of this universe are born from the basic shapes in Geometry, therefore I think that everything around us resemble to circles, polygons, or triangles. doesn’t have any other meaning rather than their symbolic meanings in geometry ,therefore this forms are pure and abstract resulting my passion for this forms. Forms have their own freedom, meaning clings to form but it doesn’t dominate the form.
In painting the form possess its freedom, thus form doesn’t remain slave of meaning. Thus form is related only with form itself. In painting along with forms colours are also important for me but colours basically possess abstraction in them. But the painting gives them traditional meaning or subjective meaning to them.
If forms are abstract then colours remain abstract. Each form needs its own space, thus resulting in proper balance between form and space so there is simplicity and easiness in the painting. Therefore instead of painting basic forms I try to portray the after effect and personal feelings about forms. The sculptural value of Ellora Caves, the cultural effect on me during my stay in Chennai, meditation, presence of female power, has influenced the aesthetics in my life.
